Wash your hands before you start and after handling raw chicken
Chop your onion. I used a medium red onion.
Chop your other vegetables. I used baby corn and a red bell pepper. Carrots are nice too.
Cube your chicken. I used 4 large breasts for 5 people.
Chop or crush your garlic how you want it.
Lay out your ingredients near your cooker for easy access.
At this point I put my rice on to cook. It takes about 30 minutes for me to cook this rice, and its usually finished just after the korma.
Heat some oil in a wok or large pan.
Add your onions and garlic and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the chicken until it is cooked on the outside.
Add some korma paste...
...Followed by some cream (sorry about the quality)...
Followed by some yoghurt. Repeat this until you have the desired amount of sauce and the desired taste. I used all my yoghurt and cream, and 3/4s of the jar of korma paste.
Mix it up and start repeating!
When the sauce is the way you want it, add cumin, coriander, salt and pepper to taste.
Let it cook for a while.
Add your other vegetables and mix them in. If you're using carrots they should be parboiled or added in earlier.
Find the biggest piece of chicken and cut it down the middle. If its white, your chicken is cooked and your korma is ready!
Dish up! I had mixed mine up and eaten some by the time I remembered to take a picture for this! It's an Indian curry, but I use any excuse to eat with chopsticks!
